Dragonforce原名Dragonheart，1999年在英格兰成军，后来为了避免造成混淆于2001年更名为Dragonforce，国内翻译成“龙的力量”和“猛龙军团”的比较多，个人更喜欢“龙势力”这个称呼，不过国内已经有用这个称号的了，其实又干嘛非要翻译呢。值得骄傲的是其中的吉他手是出生于香港的华裔Herman Li(李康敏)，有华裔成员的世界级乐队可是屈指可数的，而其他成员也都来自世界各地。
Dragonforce的风格融合了速度、力量和旋律，最具代表性的作品可能要数第一张专辑的同名歌曲《Valley Of The Damned》,也是让我第一次注意到他们的歌。《Trail of broken hearts》是我最喜欢的也是为数不多的柔情之作，出自第三张专辑《Inhuman Rampage》，极佳的旋律，第二张专辑《Sonic Firestorm》中那首《Dawn Over A New World》也不错。
