女子朋克乐队Elastica-Never Here

Elastica 是一支英国乐队，最初成员包括：Justine Frischmann (主唱，吉他)，Donna Matthews (吉他/伴唱)，Annie Holland (贝斯)，Justin Welch (鼓手)。 在英国，Elastica 被认为是 New Wave of New Wave 的发起者之一。歌曲题材非常贴近生活，从友谊到爱情，都是他们吟咏的对象。

  在英国，Elastica被认为是新浪潮音乐中的新浪潮的发起者之一，和Boo Radleys乐队一样是随接当年英式断档的重要力量，他们的同名专辑取得了非凡的成就，不但取得了排行榜的冠军而且赢得了媒体扑天盖地的赞扬。美丽而冷静的女主唱Justine Frischmann是Brit-Pop女性主唱的代表人物，同时也是歌迷心中的女神。1992年乐队成立于英国伦敦，在英美两国都取得了巨大的成功，经过一系列的人员变更后，乐队于2001年解散。

吉他手兼主唱Justine Frischmann在90年代初期自己的男朋友Brett Anderson组建Suede开始专业的演出。Bernard Butler除了给乐队起了名字以外她一直作为吉他手于乐队进行演出，直到主音吉他Bernard Butler加入乐队。但她和Anderson的关系结束后很快就离开了乐队。
